1. Can you tell us a little about Social Millennial Group?

1. How did you first become interested in digital marketing?

First of all, thanks for having me. Right after high school, I was looking for a job to gain experience. I was fortunate to be accepted at DMS (now Acxiom MENA) and I was exposed to many marketing projects. I was also influenced by a friend of mine after university, a designer at ad agencies. I heard a lot of things from him about how an agency works and I was hooked up immediately. I then worked as a strategic planner at Tribal Worldwide and Publicis Communications.

2. In the years you have worked in the industry, how have things changed as a Digital Strategic Planner?

The demand in continuously becoming more and agencies want faster results.

3. What are some common mistakes you see businesses making with respect to digital marketing?

This is something I’ve seen first-hand: creating campaigns based on a gut feeling. It could be something old and diminished where this is being read. But here in Malaysia and dare I say the South-East Asian region, all campaigns are done without reference to data and simply just use their guts to create.

What I firstly do in any agency that I join, is to introduce data-based marketing and advertising work process.

4. What are some of your own best practices?

  • I base my work on my 3 pillars: Analytics (research), Insights and Trends.
  • I formulate my campaigns based on my “Campaign Framework Process” that I have invented and I look forward to create in an website, app or software form.

5. What else would you like readers to know about you and your work?

Data is the way and it will stay for decades. We are living the 2nd e-Commerce boom, which requires deep understanding of data. Today I am presenting an online interview with Ryan Eagle. Infamously known as Birdman, is most recognized for being a cut-throat businessman. He has founded several successful companies till date.

1. Who is Ryan Eagle?

Well, I am Ryan Eagle! I’ve been self-employed for over ten years running various internet related businesses. I’m a cut-throat businessman that is currently involved with running three major businesses. My primary business, Sidago Integrated Solutions, is an outsourcing company that works with businesses to reduce employee overhead and increase efficiency. Secondly, I run a FOREX and crypto currency money management fund called ECC Investments. Finally, I’m an angel investor that invests into a wide array of businesses – primarily in the internet space but more recently branching into tangible businesses. I’m obsessed with business and I love creation – I absolutely love doing what I do and wake up every day (well, almost every day) invigorated and excited to work.

2. What was it like for you when you first ventured into online business?

I’ve been interested in business since I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade – I remember dreaming that I’d own a company called “EagleCOM” that created software just like Microsoft. I made my first website when I was in the 5th grade, self-taught by reading a book on HTML. I started making money online when I was 14 years old and hit my first huge success when I was 16 years old. Hitting success online was overwhelming and I honestly had no real scope of what I had done. I literally woke up one day into huge success and all limitations on my life had essentially been lifted. Even though I started making good money, I never slowed down my hustle and continued to work even harder.

3. Can you tell us a little about Angel Investing and xCell Fund?

In 2010 I started angel investing into other businesses because I knew that only way to success was diversification. Even though I can successfully start and run multiple businesses myself, I can only do so much without draining myself. Unlike the traditional angel investor that simply drops money into businesses, I like to be a lot more involved. I invest into motivated individuals and offer them all the internal resources that propel my companies. I want to truly make sure that my investments succeed – the only way for me to do that is to get involved. Since 2010, I’ve invested in roughly a dozen new companies with at least ten of them reaching millions in yearly revenue. In late 2013 I started a new parent company encompassing my investments called xCell Fund. This brand has been an important part of connecting me with potential companies and individuals to partner with. With the new company, we’ve branched into non-technology related entities as well to further diversify our portfolios.

4. Tell me about your other companies – ECC Investments and Sidago Integrated Solutions?

ECC Investments is a money management fund that focuses primarily on FOREX markets. We utilize refined and time-tested algorithms that place high frequency trades at low risk. We offer different levels of risk for our clients based on their needs, but our most sought after profile generates between 10% – 15% monthly returns with a 2% or less drawdown. Our robots generate thousands of trades a day and do a great job at mitigating risks. We utilize PAMM management to produce trades for our clients, giving us only trading rights on the accounts that our users setup – no withdraw or access beyond that. We charge a nominal fee for managing money based only on the profit that we generate. My other company is Sidago Integrated Solutions; an outsourcing company that helps businesses reduces overhead by taking their operations offshore with heavily vetted teams. We’ve been able to offer high levels of service to our clients in comparison to our competitors because of higher quality hiring practices. Both businesses have grown entirely by word of mouth referrals up to this point in time, in 2015 I see taking both companies to the retail side.

5. What would you say is your greatest achievement?

My greatest success is not related to my businesses – it’s my sobriety, something that money can’t buy. My addictive nature is hugely important in business but is a double edged sword in itself. I could have all the money in the world but if I’m not sober I don’t stand a chance at living a happy life. I’m extremely grateful that I’ve been able to enjoy this journey while maintaining my sobriety – it’s one of the few things that keep me anchored to reality.

6. As an achiever where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?

I’d see myself doing the same thing I do now – hustling. I do not give up when faced with failure. I do not slack when faced with success. I would hope that I’m more diversified outside of just internet related businesses. Making money online is my comfort zone and the returns are usually far higher than tangible businesses – but they also come with major problems as well. I want to start businesses that have some sort of value even if they generate lower returns. I’m looking for longevity – not quick ends.

1. What gave you the idea to start Stack or Starve? Share your story.

Struggle & Blessings at the same time pretty much gave me the idea originally. It was that drive to start a brand that represented the streets & could be in a relative form at the same time. Stackin’ is about being smart financially, conscious about the income you earn, budgeting, and overall responsibility. The Starving part is more defining because we can all be starving of many things from food, to knowledge to resources. It all plays out well…and there you have the term: “Stack or Starve”

2. Tell us how you have used stack or starve to brand and promote artists?

Well it’s basically a resource and platform for independent artists who come from nothing, who represent the streets, the struggle and the grind. I have an ear for music, and talent from the inner community and i also believe that music is here to stay no matter what genre, creed, color or race. We’ve used the brand in many ways from the branding perspective, to the dj perspective and so forth. We aim to maintain a great rapport with many in the underground and major scene.

3. Can you tell us a briefly about some artists you work with, past and present? How have stack or starve contributed to their success as artist.

Well as a brand we have had a lot of success from the mixtape side of things with independent releases from: King Louie, Lil Durk, Chief Keef, Sashsa Go Hard, Tink, Rocky Diamonds, Dreezy, & many more. In addition, we have also worked with many major artists as whole with the DVD projects. Those artists & Celebrities include: Rick Ross, Twista, Curren$y, Irv Gotti, Duffle Bag Boyz, Shawty Lo, Papoose, Dame Grease (DMX’s Producer), Freeway Rick Ross & many more.

4. How does stack or starve stand out from other industry competitors? What makes your brand unique?

We stand out based on what we represent. Stack Or Starve as a brand represents the independent artists solely first and foremost. I believe its starts with the respect in the streets. Coming from Chicago, authenticity is a very key thing, the right relationships are also important. We also stand out and cater to every artists situation rather its budget or minimal resources. We give chances to those who deserve them. A good grind doesn’t go unnoticed; it’s of advantage when you have access to a brand that has the right relationships and avenues to go further or even a step higher.

My background in music is different from most people from Chicago, and that gives me a unique perspective and the ability to see solutions that are more creative and resourceful. For example, I came up with Stack Or Starve Dj’s to break artists on the mix tape scene, and it worked out beautifully. 
Essentially, we have also been influenced by many brands before us so i wanna pay homage to: team Bigga Rankin, Hoodrich, Southern Smoke & Gangsta Grillz.

5. Please tell us about your upcoming projects and how you gone about promoting Def Jam Recordings?

we are working on A lot of new projects: Blanco Caine’s “Politics” & “Syrup & Sauce”, also the new White Gzus project “Stackin N Mackin” Vol. 1 . I’m developing a lot of new acts as well, so look out for my artist Tina World Order. She’s a phenomenal artist & songwriter, so I’m excited about her. As well as: Kevinn Kelly, Ando Ruckus, Morgan Mimosa, Olivia Reyes (Rich America), & a couple projects I’m close to completing titled “Mineral Water” & “Beautiful Beatz”: The Jon Dough Version.

My Position over at Def Jam is a blessing and a great experience as well. We grind hard, and shine hard along the way, everything from breaking records to radio, club runs & pushing the brand to the streets. Aggressiveness is important when you’re given the opportunity to do things on a bigger level. So I’m applying what I’ve already learned to what I’m currently learning, and God’s gonna handle the rest. S/o to Def jam, Shampoo, EP, Mazzi & Danny.

6. As 2014 is fast running out can you tell us about your plans for 2015?

Well we are going into our 10th Anniversary for the Stack Or Starve brand in 2015, so I’m pretty excited about that, shouts to my partner Missy B for being instrumental in assisting with the brand and its development. We are launching the new http://www.StackOrStarveDvd.com as well as our anniversary concert, a couple of tours & some very exciting surprises, so be on the lookout for it. Other plans include being on the air with our mix shows, 7 Days a week, & focusing on taking our sub brands (Trap Scholarz, SOS International, The SuperMarket) to another level. Im also in the small stages of my clothing brand “Bag Language”, as well as bringing the STACK OR STARVE DVD back to the streets and exposing some of the newer talent coming up from the streets, Shout out to my Stack Or Starve Dj’s for all the hard work & Loyalty etc. We are always working.

1. Who is JAMES A GAUDINO Sr.? Please tell us what got you interested in trading stocks.

I’m just a poor kid, brought up on welfare, I started a small manufacturing company and made more money then I knew what to do with. The most logical thing I could think of was to invest it. I bought Houses, Cars, Boats, Motor-homes, and stocks. Out of all those the stocks were the most stable, profitable and required no maintenance or cleaning.

2. Please tell us what “Dividend Capturing” is all about?

Dividend Capturing is where you buy a dividend stock before the “Ex-date” and sell a few days later, after the “date of record” for a small profit.

3. What makes “Dividend Capturing” a solution to financial challenges faced by people?

Dividend Capturing alone is not a “fit for all” investment strategy. it is a simple, safe and profitable to make your money grow faster. If done right with the aid of some Dividend Stock software…. it may just give you a good solid monthly income.

4. Is there any live class available for people who are interested in trading for dividend?

Yes, starting spring of 2015 there will be weekly beginner classes and monthly advanced classes for those that would like to invest for monthly cash flow using dividend stocks.

5. Tell us if there is any qualification needed to participate in the program and how much can one earn with this program?

All that is needed is a desire to learn about investing your own money, a little common sense.

6. Where do you see stock trading in 2015 compared to previous years?

The stock market as we know has been around for over 400 years, it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

Many of the companies we look at are over 100 years old, paying out dividends every year and even increasing their dividend payments for over 50 years. Could you ask for a better, safer way to invest your own money? If you can figure out a better way I’m all ears.
